Big Boi & Yelawolf Declare “You Ain’t No DJ” (Listen & Download)

Big Boi The Son of Chico Dusty Album Cover
Ok, now this is just getting ridiculous. Not even 24 hours after we got treated to the supremely dope "Tangerine", Big Boi is right back out it with his latest leak "You Ain't No DJ" and, no surprise, it's f-ing incredible.Featuring a darkly sparkling beat, if that makes any sense, and a guest verse from "Trunk Muzik" creator Yelawolf (talk about a fast riser), "You Ain't No DJ" is simultaneously a fresh joint, and a middle finger to all those laptop "DJs" who only know how to hit play on their iTunes playlist.

Seriously - Andre 3000 always gets talked about as the better rapper, but considering his prolonged absence, I'm ready to declare Big Boi the better half of Outkast, and one of the better rappers alive. Especially if "Son of Chico Dusty" turns out to be the classic it sounds like so far.

"I'm ready to declare Big Boi the better half of Outkast"

BLASPHEMY!!! Dre doesn't have to spit a verse for the rest of his life to be ahead of Big Boi.

wow. Worst Yelawolf verse I've heard. He should have gotten cut for real. Bun B or Mos Def would be my pick.

Dear god, everything about this excellent. I love the production, big boi is fire, and yelawolf does his thing too. This album looks so good, it's scary.

Personally, I can't bring myself to take a side concerning the better half of outkast. I think both Andre 3k and Big Boi are two of the greatest rappers alive; their respective styles compliment each other like yin and yang. Before his solo work, i might have said andre, but big boi's new stuff shows that he can match andre 3k's level.

forget u guys, i'll take both sides of Outkast.

the song.....omg. who the F produced this? production is so hard. not to mention, Big Boi kills his part yet again. Yela was a good choice here cuz of his originality and hard-spit rhymes. i think this might be my fav so far off the album.

Apparently this was produced by Andre 3000. I have been thoroughly addicted to this song since it came out. I am going to love July 6, and hopefully sir luscious left foot will get the prized 5 stars from djbooth.
