File this one under "things I was skeptical about but eded up sounding pretty damn good." The always busy Mick Boogie is putting together a Big Boi x Rick Ross mash-up mixtape, cleverly titled "SouthernPlayalisticMaybachMusic and featuring Ross verses on Big Boi tracks and vice-versa, and while at first it may seem like the two emcee's are too far apart stylistically to work, the first release off the project, a remix of Big Boi's dope single "Shutterbug", proves otherwise. Sorry, that was a really long sentence. Let me simplify. Rick Ross. Big Boi. Together. It sounds dope. Enjoy.

"SouthernPlayalisticMaybachMusic" is alledgedly set to drop today (I'll let you know if it does), and I'm also hearing that we should be expecting a Big Boi mixtape in the next week or so before the release of "Chico Dusty" on July 6.
