Banks Brings on Luda, Dream & Jadakiss for “Beamer, Benz or Bentley (Remix)” (Listen & Download)

For the past few weeks Lloyd Banks has been talking about the "crazy" remix he was assembling for his smash "Beamer, Benz or Bentley" and, like almost everything with that much hype, today we learned that said remix isn't really all that crazy. Maybe kind of wild in a "way too many Red Bulls" kind of way, but not crazy.

In order of appearance, we're now treated to new verses from Banks (delivers), Ludacris (predictably takes top flow honors), The-Dream (not sure how I feel about him on these rap remixes), Jadakiss (crushes it, just below Luda) and Yo Gotti (so forgettable I left him out of the headline to save room). Ready for some hypocrisy? I know I usually rant about how remixes should be actual remixes and switch up the beat, but in this case they traded in what may be the original's beat of the year for some mediocre ish. Sigh.

For the record, the "Beamer, Benz or Bentley" era is officially over. No more freestyles/remixes. And out of every version that got dropped, I still think I like Joell Ortiz' best.
