B.o.B. is Higher Than a “Satellite” (Listen & Download)

B.o.B. The Adventures of Bobby Ray Album Cover
As the release of B.o.B.'s long awaited debut album gets closer and closer (April 27 suckas!) we're being barraged with new Bobby Ray material (ex. "Nothin' On You (Remix)", or in this case barraged with new and improved versions of old Bobby Ray material. While his undoubtedly THC-influenced, Kid Cudi-esque "Satellite" first dropped about a year ago, today we have the re-mastered, high quality version of the track, which will appear as a bonus track on "The Adventures of Bobby Ray."

As anyone who's seen B.o.B. live, this song's a staple of his live show, probably because it showcases his versatility. There's not a lot of artists out there who could bust an ill flow, then strap on a guitar and sing with equal skill. Oh, and why does he adopt that weird English accent for the third verse? Who knows. Did I mention there was undoubtedly marijuana involved in the creation of this track? What if I included more rhetorical questions in this post?

@TheBayToLA Agreed. This is one album I think may just live up to my very high expectations.

Tracks like this on "B.o.B Vs Bobby Ray" made B.o.B one of the biggest talents to look out for this year. He brings a versatile approach to music, easily hopping around different genres and musical styles. From "You Have The Stamina" to "I Am The Man" to "Voltage" to "Satellite" and then "Put Me On". It is soul, electro-synth pop, old-school goodness all rolled into one. SICK!

That being said, album is running behind my expectations, as long as that average posse cut "Bet I Bust" is included in the set.
