As the release of
B.o.B.'s long awaited debut album gets closer and closer (April 27 suckas!) we're being barraged with new Bobby Ray material (ex. "
Nothin' On You (Remix)", or in this case barraged with new and improved versions of old Bobby Ray material. While his undoubtedly THC-influenced, Kid Cudi-esque "
Satellite" first dropped about a year ago, today we have the re-mastered, high quality version of the track, which will appear as a bonus track on "The Adventures of Bobby Ray."
As anyone who's seen B.o.B. live, this song's a staple of his live show, probably because it showcases his versatility. There's not a lot of artists out there who could
bust an ill flow, then strap on a guitar and sing with equal skill. Oh, and why does he adopt that weird English accent for the third verse? Who knows. Did I mention there was undoubtedly marijuana involved in the creation of this track? What if I included more rhetorical questions in this post?
