I'll be honest with you. I was undecided about posting B.o.B.'s video for his dope "Bet I Bust" track featuring T.I. and Playboy Tre, not because it's bad but because it's, well, ok. Sure it's got a couple cool graphical elements, but for the most part it's simply B.o.B. and company performing in front of a white screen with average back-up dancers behind them. But then I realized a couple things. First, this video's indicative not of any failing on B.o.B.'s part, but of the state of the music industry as a whole. Believe me friends, the days of million dollar Hype Williams videos are over. Video shoot budgets, even for artists high on the priority list like B.o.B., are now bare bones. I'll bet artists have to go by their own lunches now. That doesn't completely excuse B.o.B. - it's obviously still possible to be more creative than this without mega bucks - but I really shouldn't be complaining.
And the second reason I'm posting this video. Because you should really support quality music and go buy a copy of B.o.B.'s new album "The Adventures of Bobby Ray", which is fucking dope by the way. If posting this video prompts even one person to cop the album, it was worth it. If this album fails the labels will get (even more) scared and continue cranking out ringtone rap, but if it does well maybe we'll start to see some more investment in real hip-hop music. Or you could just ignore all that and stare at some booties for a couple minutes. Either or. I'm not judging.

Far from my favorite B.o.B track (you tell me a T.I. & B.o.B collaboration and this is the best "for the street/rap-centric" joint they can come up with), but still an entertaining video to say the least. The best compliment I have for this song is - the exposure of Playboy Tre to masses.
