Every day that goes by I grow more and more convinced that Andre 3000's just fucking with us. He won't appear in any music videos, but he'll do a commercial for Gillette? He won't get back together with Big Boi, but he'll pump out guest verses for Ke$ha? And to make matters worse, he fucking kills every microphone he touches, just to remind us of what we're truly missing.

Now the Gorillaz is no Ke$ha - actually the exact opposite - but otherwise this new "Do Ya Thing" matches Andre's infuriating blueprint perfectly. The latest addition to Converse's "Three Artists, One Song" series, "Do Ya Thing"...blah blah blah...and James Murphy...blah blah blah...and then 3 Stacks fucking annihilates his verse (skip to the 2:15 mark for those with no patience).

Sweet baby jesus Andre, rhyme on a legit hip-hop track! Just once! I know you want to fight people labeling you, and break boundaries, and I'm all for it. But you've got to miss rap sometimes, right? A man can only live on "I Do" for so long - can we get an Outkast album now?
