Years ago in 2008,
Amy Winehouse collaborated with Mr. Jones himself for "Like Smoke" a duet that will appear on the singer's posthumous album "Amy Winehouse Lioness: Hidden Treasures." And if "Like Smoke" is any marker of how the album will sound I'm sure it'll be full of exactly that, lots of hidden treasures.
For some reason I was a little leery of "Like Smoke" sounding very anti-Amy, but Salaam Remi of course nailed the production. In fact, "Like Smoke" sounds like it could have fit perfectly alongside "Back To Black" tracks like "Me And Mr. Jones" or "Just Friends." It has that jazzy, soulful feel that seemed to fit Winehouse so well. And of course
Nas puts forth two very dope verses.
"Amy Winehouse Lioness: Hidden Treasures" will be released on December 6th.
