‘80s Baby: Adidas Originals Updates the Forum Lo RS (Pics)Posted by Ru Porter on 04/10/12 | Filed under Sneakers, QuickHits, Adidas
Now that the warmer months are here, go ahead and put away your Timbs or whatever else that’s associated with winter because as the temperatures begin to rise, making a big deal over what to wear is probably the last thing on your mind. The goal is to keep cool in the sun, while pulling of a cool look in the process. So a lightweight pair of shoes is ideal – something you can wear with shorts (camo, or cargo depending on your preference), a graphic tee and a nice pair of aviators --accessories that I consider to be a timeless classic. For me, nothing says summer time like a simple low-top shoe in solid white or black that can match with anything.
Making a comeback this season is the Forum Lo RS. An Adidas Original that first hit courts back in 1984 and instantly became a basketball classic. Over the years, the shoe found its place on the street and has become an iconic sneaker. And now, it’s returning with tonal color ways and unique detailing. A breathable mesh upper has replaced the standard leather materials to provide a lightweight sneaker, perfect for some b-ball action on the court or in the park. The kicks also feature soft leather detailing and gum soles, and in addition to the stylish details the kicks are designed for comfort, which includes Adidas’ OrthoLite foot bed.
Comfort and style for just $85? You might want to grab both colors available at Dr. Jay’s and Expressions for that price.
