Ab-Soul’s In It for the “Long Term 2” (Mixtape Listen & Download)

As regular readers of our "Your Favorite Rapper is Poor" series know, there's a huge divide putting being a "rap star" and being rich and famous, and Carson, CA native Ab-Soul has put himself in the running for "Your Favorite Rapper is Poor" spokesman status with his new realer than real mixalbum "Long Term 2: Lifestyles of the Broke and Famous". Beyond his willingness to actually be honest, Ab-Soul also proves he's one of the best young rhymespitters in the game throughout "Long Term 2". It's that other dope west coast hip-hop. Respect.

The project also features guest work from Jay Rock, Rapper Big Pooh (of Little Brother), Kendrick Lamar and more, with Sounwave, Tae Beast, Pro Logic, Curtiss King and Willie B. putting in the beat work.
