Ab-Soul Goes All Black Everything on “Black Lip Bastard” (Listen & Download)

Between featuring Kendrick today and ScHoolboy Q yesterday RefinedHype Nation has been TDE territory this week, and as long as we've come this far I figured I might as well round out the crew and post Ab-Soul's new release "Black Lip Bastard".

Now that Kendrick has (obviously) blown, Jay Rock's been established and ScHoolboy Q's gaining momentum Ab-Soul is really up next; although getting an entire track on "#Section80" to himself was a huge look.

At this point Soul's biggest challenge is to simply show the world just who he is, to really make people understand what differentiates him from the rest of TDE and the rap game. While "Black Lip Bastard" won't do that by itself, it's a start. Then he follows "Black Lip" with another dope track, and then another, and then a project and then boom, in six months we're talking about Soul like we're talking about ScHoolboy now.

(I know, I know, easier said then done.)
