Right now some of the most lavish parties known to man are being throw down in Miami in anticipation of Sunday's Super Bowl. While you probably don't have the kind of cash to match Playboy's annual Super Bowl shindig, RefinedHype has you covered with a few tips that will help in throwing the ideal Super Bowl party without (completely) emptying your bank account.
1. Have Plenty Of Food
We all know that food plays a huge role in any Super Bowl party, but to be successful at this party requirement you must have plenty of it. For some people, running out of snacks around half-time is the equivalent of their favorite team losing after giving up a 14-point lead so be sure to avoid this party no-no at all costs.
2. Create A Signature Cocktail
If you really want to impress your guests surprise them with a signature cocktail during half-time. It’s your signature cocktail so feel free to add whatever liquors and mixers you like. Top it off with a fun name like “The Touchdown,” “The Saint,” etc. and you’re good to go.
3. Make Half-Time Fun Again
Let’s face it after Janet Jackson had her little nip-slip during half-time at the Super Bowl in 2004, Super Bowl half-time performances have fallen off tremendously. This year, when half-time begins break out the Taboo, Scrabble, or create your own game for a little impromptu half-time fun.
4. Hire Help
If you usually find yourself pulling double duty come party time with refilling drinks and replenishing the party platter then you may want to consider hiring help this year. Hiring a server and/or bartender to help with drinks and serving food will lighten the load tremendously.
5. Rent A Bigger TV
If you invite 20 people over for your Super Bowl party and your television is barely bigger than 20 inches then you’re probably in for quite the Super Bowl disaster. If you’re expecting quite a few people over and you’re working with quite the modest-sized TV set then you may want to invest in renting a larger television for the day.
