2010’s Worst Winter Fashion Trends

By a show of hands how many of you are already over seeing people wearing those huge, furry hats? I’m no Matilda The Mind Reader, but I’m gonna go ahead and assume there’s a whole lot of you with hands in the air right now. We’re only a few weeks into winter and already the cringe-worthy winter trends are beginning to reveal themselves slowly, but surely.

Huge, Furry Hats

If there were a grand prize for worst winter trend the fluffy, furry hat would win by a landslide. It’s like when did wearing a furry animal on your head become cool? This trend becomes slightly more tolerable when it’s below 20 degrees, but there’s no reason you should be rocking the fluffy, furry hat on South Beach.

Arm Warmers

Leg warmers are already pretty corny, but now you folks wanna throw arm warmers in the mix?! Come on now! They’re also pretty pointless. If you’re that cold put on a thicker sweater. And to be quite frank it looks like you’re wearing a damn cast!

Weird Looking Ugg’s

I personally love Ugg’s. They’re warm, comfortable, and they’re cute (I don’t ask for much). But then people started wearing metallic Uggs, bright purple Uggs, ugly Uggs, and pretty much killed the Ugg trend. And let’s not even talk about guys who wear Uggs…

Men In Fur

Ughh, men in fur. I don’t even know where to start with this trend gone wrong…terribly wrong. It’s just not right fella’s. You look uber-feminine and I’m sure it’s sending out all the wrong signals to the ladies. Just look at that 50 Cent picture. Look at it. I look at that picture and I think to myself, “He’d be great to go shoe shopping with.”
