Brooklyn-based fashion line
10.Deep recently paid homage to the history of this great country of ours with their 2010 spring lookbook. The lookbook features pictures of models wearing various pieces from the spring line side by side with historic pictures from the United States’ past. RefinedHype.com gives our thoughts on 10.Deep’s latest.

The Refined Take:
Pros: 10.Deep took an extremely creative approach for this season’s lookbook and it’s really paying off. And as an unexpected bonus 10.Deep may have actually encouraged a few people to take a deeper look at the history of the United States. OK ,who are we kidding…probably not.
Cons: There really isn’t too much to critique with this one. The only possible issue is the lookbook was separated into two different lookbooks that were released on two separate dates. Which kind of seems like just another way to keep the hype going. A little unnecessary, if you ask us.
All in All: We think the combination of 10.Deep’s spring looks and pictures from important events in the United States’ past is a great look, but I’m sure there’s a few people who think history and fashion should remain separate. All in all, the lookbook looks great and so do the clothes. Is there really much else to ask for? A woman’s line maybe? Who knows…
